You guys! This has been our new recipe for the past few weeks! We already make and love easy foil pack recipes, this one, but this one might be a new winner! You won’t believe how easy this is!

These Sausage Broccoli Cheddar Foil Packs are perfect for summer because you can grill them, cook them on the campfire, or pop them in the oven! An incredibly simple yet satisfying dish that will please everyone!

What ingredients do I need to make Sausage Broccoli Cheddar Foil Packs?
You only need three ingredients, aside from sheets of aluminum foil, to make these low-carb foil pack meals. Them:

  • Sausage: Smoked sausage, Andouille Sausage, or Kiabosa all work well. Just check the carbs.
  • Broccoli
  • Cheddar Cheese

How do you make Grilled Sausage Broccoli Cheddar Foil Packs?

Preheat gas or charcoal grill to high heat, about 400 degrees.
Cut 4 (12×12 inch) sheets of heavy-duty foil.
Fill each foil packet with 2 cups broccoli and 1 cup chopped sausage.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Lift the 2 sides of the foil so that the edges meet. Seal the edges by making tight 1/2-inch folds; refold, leaving room for heat circulation and expansion.
Place the packages on the grill, cook for 7 minutes. Flip the foil packets and bake for another 7 minutes.
Carefully open packages and sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of each package. Using tongs, cover the foil packet over the foil packet and let the cheese melt. Cook for another 2-3 minutes and remove from the stove.

Instructions

    3. Bring up 2 sides of foil so edges meet. Seal edges, making tight 1/2-inch fold; fold again, allowing space for heat circulation and expansion.
    4. Place packs on grill, cook 7 minutes. Flip foil packs and cook 7 more minutes.
    5. Carefully open packs and sprinkle each pack with 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Using tongs tent the foil pack over the foil pack allowing the cheese to melt. Cook 2-3 more minutes and remove from heat.

Notes

You can use smoked sausage or Kielbasa if you prefer.
