Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (21 ounces) peach pie filling
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
- Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the bowl. Using a pastry blender or your hands, mix the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture is crumbly.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
- Press about two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, using your hands or a spatula to smooth it out.
- Pour the peach pie filling over the dough and spread it out evenly.
- Crumble the remaining dough over the top of the peach filling.
- Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the crumbled dough.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the top is lightly browned.
- Let the bars cool in the pan for at least 10-15 minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
