Dijon mustard 1 egg, beaten Salt and pepper, to taste Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape. Spread the Dijon mustard evenly over the puff pastry sheet. Place the ham slices on top of the mustard, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over the ham slices. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Starting from one of the shorter sides of the rectangle, roll up the puff pastry tightly like a jelly roll. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled-up pastry into 1-inch (2.5 cm) slices. Place the pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart. Brush the beaten egg over the top of each pinwheel. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown and puffed up. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the pinwheels cool for a few minutes before serving.
