Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup mango puree (you can use fresh or canned mango)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Mango slices and whipped cream for decoration (optional)

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture in three parts, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
- Stir in the mango puree and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.
- Decorate the cake with mango slices and whipped cream, if desired.
