  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef or Italian sausage and cook until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the diced green bell pepper, diced red onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the pizza sauce to the skillet and stir to combine with the meat and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spread the meat mixture evenly into a 9-inch pie dish.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the meat mixture.
  7. Add the sliced black olives, sliced mushrooms, and sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  8. Drizzle with a little bit of olive oil.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the toppings are heated through.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
