Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies


  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter and stir until fully combined.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, and whisk until fully incorporated.
  5. Add the peanut butter and vanilla extract to the mixture and whisk until smooth.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
  11. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
