Balsamic Tofu
A balsamic tofu recipe flavored with fresh garlic, basil, and fennel seeds that makes for a delicious, easy vegan dinner. Simple pantry ingredients come together in just 20 minutes to make and use.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed and drained
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 tablespoon tamari
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 7-8 fresh basil leaves
- Pepper and salt to taste
